I haven't seen Batman yet, not that interested but I hope it's good.

Marvel Studios has done something unprecedented that isn't truly being appreciated, even as popular as it is. But not having any competition allows them to coast. This phase, like phase 1 is young and hasn't hit it's own individual stride just yet. Pushing the boundaries and exploring different genre's with the source material is imperative to for them to to expand and continue being the standard.

If DC doesn't put some fire up under their ass, it's going to be hard for anyone else to come along and do it.
