I enjoyed the finale of an okay series. Loved the suit, Bucky is redeemed, Isaiah scenes were dope. Speech was a likkle preachy but was good. This was the best way to introduce the new Captain America with the conflict from the community and addressing the racism head on (I saw the RT episode scoring and they're just telling on themselves even after Marvel pointed the mirror at them).

Now that bad, I just didn't like Carli and the Flag Smashers because they're message was never clear and just fell apart in the end. John Walker helping and then becoming the US Agent all felt off. Sharon should've been revealed as the Power Broker from episode one because I forgot all about that "mystery of PB" pretty quickly.
What are you talking about? :what:

The Flag Smasher message was extremely clear.

They liked the way it was during the blip

I wonder if a black captain America can do close to Black Panther numbers.

it as a good chance cap 4 will most likely be a stealth avengers film like "cap 3 civil war" was a stealth avengers film cap 4 story will probably be a Sam Wilson put together/lead New/Secret/Mighty Avengers team vs thunderbolts/Dark Avengers type film

I said it before in this thread if Sam team looks something like this

Sam Wilson Captain America
Blue Marvel = antimatter power house + genius level intellect basically black superman/reed richard's fusion
Monica Rambeau = black girl magic
Luke Cage = lets Jessica Jones tag alone for the pawgers/swirl gang
Bucky = token/down ass white boy
switch Peter Parker spider man out for Miles Morales spider man
SHE-HULK = pagg powerhouse
White Tiger = Afro–Latino
Power Man = Afro–Latino
Misty Knight = Sam's Love interest

eventual blade team up

black people would support the hell out of cap 4

Aight I definitely worded that wrong but The Flag Smashers were disappointing and uninteresting. I get it, the pandemic ruined a plotline but even with what they had, I don't think they could've done much better.

A Villa Straylight.
Overall show is ok. Final episode was great. Race aside I never cared for Falcon Cap, but I think Marvel did a good job of introducing the world the concept. I hope Cap 4 is not about race, but more about a Black man doing cool shyt saving the world while also leading a team.
Unfortunately black men don't get to decide if race plays a factor in their lives. I think they were trying to be honest about that here.

Really did USAgent do anything worse than a lot of the heroes and "allies"?

Ironman creates ultron, as a result a town is destroyed and the world almost is.
Wanda mind controlled and almost killed an entire town.
Hulk has a history of devastating towns and has killed tons of people as a result:mjgrin:
Thor probably has more bodies than everyone here combined. Granted its from battle and they're aliens:patrice:
Loki gets a relativeslap on the wrist after attempting genocide and near conquering earth.:jbhmm:
Black Widow red ledger she probably got a lot of bodies:jbhmm:
Starlord You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell:damn:

Only thing is he got caught in 4k doing that shyt. He went unhinged but so did a couple of avengers I mean ffs they have the Hulk :mjlol:.

if they did the world breaker hulk storyline they really woulda saw him being ruthless. which is prolly why marvel didnt do it.:picard:

Probably not.

Black Panther was legitimately something the black audience had been waiting ALL of our lives to see. A Black African King who was also a hero. Plus you had Ryan Coogler who everybody already loves coming off Creed. Michael B Jordan who was RIGHT at his peak as a movie star. Lupita Nyongo RIGHT at her peak after winning an Oscar. And Chadwick coming right off his star turn in Civil War.

Its hard to capture that kind of lightning in a bottle again. Cap 4 would probably have to be a mini Avengers movie to make BP numbers. Hell I saw Black Panther 10 times in theaters and even though I like and respect Anthony Mackie and like him as the new Captain, I just don’t foresee his movie inspiring that same type of fandom

In reality, I agree. But this is fantasy. And fantasy can be a world that you want to be in. I didn’t mean to say racial themes should not exist; however, racial themes should not be the overall theme of the movie. I think Spider-verse/Black Panther handled it well. Maybe my argument is weak. But I just don’t want a movie that says, “ O look a Black Captain America”
