They stuck the landing :obama:As much as I liked Wandavision - I preferred this. The loose ends they've left will be interesting when they're picked up for Season 2 or the movie.

Action sequences were fire. I like how they've adjusted Sam's fight style to take in both the shield and the wings.

Was Sharon being the Power Broker that big a twist? I mean - she was doing dirt in Madripoor with all the art, I put Sam and Bucky dealing with her down to their familiarity and being pragmatic about the mission. She's about to be on some hardbody fukkery though :lupe:

Contessa Selena staying on that :mjgrin:and giving us US Agent a new name and purpose.

The scene with Isiah and Sam talking with Eli taking it all in, in the background :wow:

Lowkey got a little choked up when they went to the exhibit - Patriot has to be a lock for Young Avengers now. :mjcry:

Bucky getting a litteral invite to the cookout at the end :russ: He'll make a good sidekick :mjpls:

That closing title card :blessed:

Disney + ain't sticking the landings.

that wasn't very good. i'm sorry.
the action was fine but all in the dark, the flag smashers sucked from start to finish and were clearly covid casualities, the sharon carter stuff absolutely sucks, Sam giving that speech could have been powerful, but this entire episode smashed you over the head with shyt. no subtlety whatsoever. Walker just... walks free? I'm fine with it, but outside of hearing the name, are we supposed to know what US Agent is? what that leads to? etc. The Bradley stuff and the family party were the only parts i liked. How bout Zemo just straight breaking the fourth wall? horrible post credit scene. "Who is Sharon working for?! Could be a number of dudes, we'll let you know in 4 movies."

good show overall, bad ending. same thing as Wanda

Wish walker threw her bytch ass off a building or something...:russ:

i will say this -
i actually think it's kinda refreshing that i don't give 2 shyts about anything from this show moving forward. i don't have to bog myself down wondering who Sharon works for - it could be any number of people. i don't have to care about Thunderbolts, b/c they barely planted a seed for that. Or Young Avengers b/c the young Bradley didn't even get a nod at that. I don't know where Sam or Bucky fit into the MCU moving forward and i don't care right now.
so that's something

Sams speech in the middle of New York :wow:

Sharon as the power broker while being a shield or sword agent is dope as hell

really fukk with this show minus one aspect:

in the end they really sided more with walker than carlie and that’s telling of a larger issue obviously. The show tried to have its cake and eat it too regarding both characters rather than plant its feet firmly in one camp. And that’s disappointing and wack writing.

that aside, this pleased me for the most part and hit the notes I wanted it to hit, and gave real growth to its main two characters.
