I hope Bucky keeps some of that menacing-vibe he had in Winter Soldier. Might be my favorite MCU movie, then he got neutered in Infinity War and Endgame.

It's over breh. The menace went away the moment he became "Bucky".

He's always a tweener or anti-hero in the comics though. By the end of this they should either put him on ice or have him at odds with the main heroes again so he can get a little of that mystique back.

Does he still have the "super soldier" thing as Bucky? B/c I could have done what he did in Infinity War and Endgame...and I havent gotten off the couch in a year :flabbynsick:

least anticapted MCU project except Widow, but still looks damn good. only 6 episodes too, which is good.

I agree. The actors are not good enough to carry a series IMO. It could be rescued somewhat by the right support actors and effects, but this is my least anticipated as well. Bucky isn't a strong actor and we all saw Mackie's monotone performance in Altered Carbon.

Anthony Mackie's recent run of Netflix bullshyt has knocked his credibility down for me for some reason. Feel like all he does is cheap sci-fi now. They definitely need to prove they can work without Cap.

I think he does have some super soldier in him. I think he's a tier above Falcon and a tier below Cap. But he was out of his league in IW/Endgame obviously. The only characters that were basically regular humans that did anything was Widow and she died. :dead:

I didn't know this was only 6 eps. That actually makes me a little less optimistic about this, unless the eps are a hour a piece.

Every big actor has a few "pay the bills" movies like Mackie just did. It almost seemed like he wanted to get those roles out of the way because Disney is gonna have him busy.

.
nah i think that's good. it's like one long ass movie, which i feel like is more than enough time for these characters. love Civl War and Winter Soldier, but without Cap, i can't get too excited. I'm all about the pure fukkery of the MCU, going back to the "spy" type military shyt isn't really jumping at me right now. I ready for more multiverse and alien shyt.

He is not a "big actor" and he can't act.

What was the last big film that he headlined?

Man got knocked out by great grand-daddy Freeman :hhh:

I thought that about WandaVision until I actually saw it. At this point everything seems like gold. :pachaha:

The incorporation of US Agent in particular made me want to see a lot of this. It is what it is though. This probably won't have many rippling effects on the rest of the MCU but we might have an able bodied Cap by the end of it.

I don't think he's a great actor but he can act IMO.

I also don't think that's fair to him because I think he would've headlined some decently big films if covid didn't hit. I don't think the Idris and Synchronic films were supposed to go straight to streaming services.

He's a bigger fish in the pond than most, like it or not.
