Just finished up the season, overall it was decent but I wanted it to go out stronger. SPOILERS BELOW
It was cool seeing my guy from The Knick as a villain, but half the problem with dealing with him was the police
. Just finding the correct evidence and doing things the right way was an obstacle in dealing with him.
Also didn't care that his death winded up being the fulcrum that pushed Trish over the edge. When I saw him in the elevator I was
, he got what he deserved. I get the fact that Trish would have kept going and that is why Jessica stopped her, but I dislike all the morality talk and what it means to be a hero. I watch maybe too many superhero shows and feel like that topic has been well covered.
If any of the Marvel shows should have been procedural, it should have been this one. Would have given Jessica more character choices to play and just more interesting things to do.
Jeri doesn't do much besides pawning for a former flame and being an a$$hole for most of the season.
