I think the gap between this and daredevil is nowhere near as wide as people think

To each his own, but I don’t agree with this at all, JJ has moments that are great, and the first season as a whole was good, But any Season of DD shyts on any season of JJ, Same with Punisher even tho s2 wasn’t as well written as the first season

What Luke do in his episode? Was it worth watching?
He popped up in the beginning of last episode in a suit for about 4 minutes. Basically told her to handle her business and stop Trish, no matter how hard it may be to do it. Talked about stopping his brother and hated putting him in the RAFT. That was it

Every season of daredevil is better, the gap to me isn't as big, both had okay second seasons, but I wasn't as annoyed at the non punisher parts, even though Electra was annoying. Once the second season villain of JJ is revealed, we get an origin story, we didn't ask for or want

And the two sisters taking turns being jealous of each other is the most misogynistic thing in television history

Just finished up the season, overall it was decent but I wanted it to go out stronger. SPOILERS BELOW

It was cool seeing my guy from The Knick as a villain, but half the problem with dealing with him was the police :martin:. Just finding the correct evidence and doing things the right way was an obstacle in dealing with him.

Also didn't care that his death winded up being the fulcrum that pushed Trish over the edge. When I saw him in the elevator I was :manny:, he got what he deserved. I get the fact that Trish would have kept going and that is why Jessica stopped her, but I dislike all the morality talk and what it means to be a hero. I watch maybe too many superhero shows and feel like that topic has been well covered.

If any of the Marvel shows should have been procedural, it should have been this one. Would have given Jessica more character choices to play and just more interesting things to do.

Jeri doesn't do much besides pawning for a former flame and being an a$$hole for most of the season.

Malcolm struggling as well, his relationship choices :picard:

The main villain was basically the Joker....that I liked...more than Killgrave? obviously no.

Trish has and always will be a massive "UGH" of a character, we're supposed to feel sorry for a millionaire actress who got beat as a kid? Jessica was raped for months....you're not topping that.

Honestly, the best part was Luke Cage, in that suit, chillin :banderas:

We really needed a Season of Luke Cage going "bad" for the sake of Harlem...goddamn man, they let a good one go.
