I like Live Service games. Want to say that upfront. Diablo 3, Borderlands, Destiny, Warframe, etc - I play them and I play them on and off for years. I'm playing this on PS4 and some of the final segments were chopped up so bad that I could legit count the frames.

That said, the foundation for this game and what they offer right out the box is plainly a damned good foundation for games of this mold. The campaign is kinda kids movie-ish, but still better than most Marvel movies. If you're playing on PC, the game looks damn good and runs 'very okay' for the most part.

The gameplay is the hard part to describe. Not because its overly complex, but because its constantly misrepresented in all the marketing and even in the damn game itself. Yeah, you'll beat up 4 or 5 goons at a time - you'll also be put in front of a couple dozen. And you'll also see giant fukking robots the size of warehouses and you'll get legit 1 v 1s with boss characters. The time you need to put into seeing if a character is even a good fit for you is the weird part though. I thought cap was trash until I realized what all the shield could do. shyt, Widow and Iron Man can actually change weapons mid-combo. I don't even know what Thor can do and I beat the game already.

So if you're on the fence, I'd wait for a free weekend. There's better stuff out that is guaranteed fire (Ghost of Tsushima - play that shyt if you haven't because its amazing). But if you're into hero brawlers and think you can deal with the early strides of a game blended between Anthem (without the bugs) / Streets of Rage / Diablo-lite... then check this out

Because its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay fukking better than Ultimate Alliance 3 and if they actually steadily improve upon what they built up here they're really gonna have something special.

The marketing for this game didn't know what to market. So they made a CG trailer and called it a day :mjlol:

Each character is so different its crazy. Their Mastery pages is what will really allow you to make the character "yours"

I can make a Ranged Black Widow :wow:

But the combat here feels very nice (cept for all the damn ranged attacks, holy shyt.)

Iron Man is a character that you need to unlock all his weapons first. Once I went down the laser tree a little bit, I realized that he is a jack of all trades character.

Not much he CANT handle. Hulkbuster is a damn cheat code.:mjgrin:

Beat the first mission it’s fun and played the iron man tutorial in the initiative. :wow: Seamless battle mechanics, good graphics and good story so far.

I guess my one takeaway is why the main campaign solo player... games like this and military games should be multiplayer campaigns with adjusting AI enemy population so if you have 4 hero’s on the team there’s 4 times the enemies in the game.

Will be interesting to see how they support this game with future missions.

Yeah, it makes no sense that a game like this can't have co-op in the story mode. You have A.I. actually controlling your characters and their abilities and capabilities are the same as if they were human controlled, so why not just let us have the option to invite friends. Also, should have offline co-op as well. They could just make smaller, dedicated areas for offline co-op missions, at least. Dynamic split-screen might be problematic for games as big as this, but it shouldn't be shyt to be able to just have a dynamic camera zoom out on the action when needed. Luigi's Mansion 3 does this and is designed to be able to be played the entire story mode in co-op after unlocking your clone very early into the game.

I already beat the campaign and I don't have the patience to do it all over again.

I don't know if deleting the game would fix it since I deleted my local save file and it's still there, so...:francis:

If it’s Server side I could see them being able to roll some shyt back. If you can complain on SM they’ll probably hook you up
