Game has probably been scrapped and reworked a couple times. They have been dead silent on this.

They may not have enough to even show more than this even by now. Square also saying they kinda pressing for some devs too from JP so I'm guessing a lot of their projects need a bit more time.

Hopefully it’s next gen since they didn’t show it. I feel like if you’re game ain’t ready till 2020 move it to the next systems for better everything.
From with I’m hearing it’s gonna be one of those 4 player co op games like X-men legends.
I liked the earlier titles . .but the last one put me to sleep . ..if they truly put a nice budget on it and focused on making the characters unique and creating a good story this could be a great game . . .i'd actually even prefer a decent single player mode story . . but like you said its likely going to be some corny 4 player co-op game with lacking gameplay and a very basic story with hella micro transactions and loot boxes . .
