I mean I don't mind the roster they have, it baseline MCU line up.

But as time goes on the potential for characters should be huge, if it was called anything besides Marvels avengers I'd be upset. it could be the new "Marvel hero's online" game (That game was great if you never heard of it) as time goes on.

Until then characters like black panther, Scarlet witch, vision, Wonder man, wasp, antman, Spider woman, falcon etc etc can be added slowly.

An "xmen" or mutant avenger expansion with wolverine, beast, rogue, havok, etc etc... would be $$$$$

so what, the 4 (for Sony at least) post-launch are Hawkeye, Spider-Man, T'Challa and... I could see them throwing in Scarlet Witch for another woman, plus someone else with like, AoE ranged combat. As far as a set of 9 goes... I mean, there are worse rosters you could run.

That being said, if they don't run a Defenders off-shoot story pack in like, 12 months where you can grab DD, IF, JJ and LC as a set package with some group story mission content around NY post A-Day or whatever, then they fukking all the way up. Game style literally made for that exact B-story

I'm all but certain that Captain Marvel will easily be the next female edition.

Just got into the beta. Game ain't half bad at all. Told ya'll that ya'll were hating too tough on it. We get it, they don't look like the MCU Avengers aesthetically and some of them have very ?-able starting costumes (looking at you Cap & Thor) and there's only starting 5 of them + Kamala Khan (6 seems like an apropos starting line up for first Avengers game and it's all the original, with Hawkeye being very first DLC; I don't get the hate for Kamala, she's a cool and beloved character in the books), but the action and depth of the upgrades does seem intriguing enough. It's not w/o its flaws tho, but seeing as this is touted as an evolving over time type of game (and this just the beta), they could get it further improvements as the grows. This is good right now and could end up great some time down the line.

Since the X-men aren't Avengers, I wouldn't even be mad none if they charged to have like a starting 6 of them as paid DLC. Charge like 15-20 bones and have some exclusive X-missions. They could make Wolverine the freebie of that mix since he's actually an Avenger.

Only thing I can say is parry spam and shyt.What i find works is that rage thing and mashing the R2 for faster attacks. Just mash R2 not hold

Idk even tho I didn’t play the beta the videos I’ve seen look average. Even watched a “advanced” fighting vid with Ironman and it just looks meh to me. I’ll try the open beta when that drops but I’ll hold off on a purchase until it drops, I’m going with the smart consumer mindset with this one. I’m not hurting for good games but if it’s dope I might cop. My biggest issue is the playable characters, there have been a lot of Avengers so just having access to the MCU cast is not intriguing me

The gameplay doesn't look like anything special at all. The story is gonna have to be really good to offset that IMO. I don"t care about grinding for gear and doing repetitive missions over and over again.
