Why is First Person view so unappealing to me. I feel like I can't be as immersed for some reason in games...even though it's supposed to more immersive because it's supposed to be the characters actual field of vision

MMO's have always been and will always be trash. Give me my single player AAA experience. Waste of a license.
honestly, some characters are just too powerful for video games.
the Spiderman game and the Arkham games work mostly because the heroes are not relatively invincible.
we'll see what kind of game they present, but I can only guess it would have to be the one true coming of a AAA game for everyone not to have all these problems with it

You can always frame/write the game in a way that makes characters vulnerable...even a superman game can have enemies with magic, kryptonite, red solar energy, etc.
Lol we could just square up with randoms from the building stoop or on the subway platform all day. The final boss is the dude trying to piss in the elevator first in the morningsomebody just need to break down and make a game called "Hands", where you star as some super powered gloves that jump from host to host.
