The Marvel Big Heads don't have the creativity to come up with new and interesting Thor stories so they come up with this bullshyt.
So now they're gonna publish lame stories with a female Thor. Unless this female Thor is washing dishes, getting help by random strangers on how to parallel park, and getting smutted out, it's gonna be the same old shyt

The artist who come up with the characters are the real talent, and the company has to rehash establish characters because they can't create anything new
Probably trying to create their own 'Wonder Woman' since all the iconic Marvel females (or those that come close to being iconic anyway) are pretty much x-men characters or Sue Storm from the FF.. the movie rights to all of which are owned by FOX.
As it is, black widow is essentially the 'first lady' of the marvel movie-verse/mainstream marvel.. which is pretty meh compared to what fox can have with x-men and what dc is looking to capitalize on with wonder woman in justice league. I actually thought they'd been makin a push this past decade to place ms marvel as the new 'first lady' of the avengers in the books but perhaps not, unless they have her character be the one to take the 'Thor' mantle.. esp since i'd heard they introduced a new pakistani/muslim character to take the title as the new ms marvel a few months ago.

Marvel should hire Grant Morrison or Mark Millar to tackle Thor. Hell, Jeph Loeb can probably write some good Thor stories.
This is a lazy effort to generate interest.
