I feel like they'd be shoe ins this go around, especially with Spidey back in the MCU arena, and Mega Man being so well received in Smash 4. We'd get some variant. The Marvel cast would definitely be reworked to be MCU-centric.

What made MvC1 and 2 so good was that they were so fukking Japanese...Capcom isn't going to do that again. It would be cool just to see the roster though...I looked back and realized how old MvC3 is now...its crazy even though the gap between SF 2 and 3 was like 8 years...we had the alphas through the mid 90's (which I really liked btw)

Dont we all? Apparently making good HD sprites is way more expensive than 3d models. N remember lot of MVC2 sprites were re used from SF alpha, Darkstalkers etc to keep costs low. Saving Money >>>> what we want.
For me with this game 1. its hard to believe Capcom is even making it so I dont believe the rumors. and 2. Capcom lost a lot of goodwill from fans and all gamers, hard to believe they wont fukk it up if it is real. Really sad considering lot of us loved the VS. series growing up.
