From the guys over at SRK: Marvel vs. Capcom 4: Rise of the Reveal Rumors

Could this be real? Did Capcom hash everything out with the Big D? Will they show the X-Men any love? Or will they make Sentinel OP again just to spite Fox? :lupe:

EDIT: CONFIRMED

I'm not sure how true this is or how to feel. 1 and 2 were brilliant (even though I suck hard at both games :to: )
3 seems to have it's fans as well, but even that one had some sus character picks :patrice:

Characters like MODOK and X-23 made the cut over the likes of Rogue, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Psylocke Gambit, etc :dahell:

No MegaMan :dahell:

The negative nelly in me is skeptical that a 4th Marvel vs Capcom wouldn't have the same soul that the earlier Capcom crossover fighting games had. I imagine the corporations wouldn't want certain characters shining because of movie rights (Marvel) or bad blood over certain studios and creators peacing out (Capcom). Whereas the OG titles were filled with fan favorite characters, I feel like a new one would be mostly full of all of the characters that the respective companies are TELLING us to like, mainly on Marvel's end.

In all fairness to 3 though, aside from Mega Man's absence, the Capcom selection was actually mostly pretty good. Viewtiful Joe, Amaterasu, Dante, Chris Redfield, Wesker, and Zero are welcome choices. It's too bad most of those characters weren't created in time to be around for the earlier games.

...but I lowkey miss Captain Commando and Jin :mjcry:

Marvel seems like they are finally taking gaming serious.

So in that sense this wouldn't surprise me.

I couldn't be happier.

Prying away spider man from Activision finally and treating it with care.

It's ridiculous that while comic properties couldn't be any bigger that batman is the only game series taking advantage.

Man I'm so hype for that new spider man game.

No more cheap cash in like that iron man game :blessed:

There's a Suicide Squad game supposedly dropping next year. It's rumored to be like Borderlands
