i wish one of these companies would just kill a major character in a random story arc. i know they want the marketing benefit, but it would be cool to stumble upon something like that with little warning.

Suddenly... Wolverine dies in a freak bicycling accident, he never saw it coming! How will the X-Men respond to this tragedy, find out!

To everyone complaining about him being "overexposed", do you ALSO have a problem with Spider-Man, Superman and Batman doing the same thing? Because those 3 characters actually make MORE monthly appearances than Logan does. Hell, Deadpool and Captain America are close to their numbers too.


About Logan "not dying" when he should, did you complain when Batman got hit with Darkseid's Omega Beams and didn't die? Or when Bane crippled Bruce and he "got better"? Or when Superman Blue was destroyed and revived by the universe because he's a nexus being?


Comic characters, especially popular ones, die and WILL come back to life. Don't hate on Logan when he isn't even close to the worst perpetrator of these things.

They have actually done this more than once. Fact is, the popular characters don't stay gone long because people love reading about them and when they go, the readers and money goes too.

It' wasn''t a typical omega beam, it was design for him to back in time and make his way the present (like samurai jack) and when he reaches the present the batman will cause the earth to blowup because he somehow turn into a bomb or something, or that's how I remembered it.
