Maybe…. But you’d be fighting a different war. Take solace in the peace you have now lol

You all are looking at this the wrong way.

All I said was that it seems very similar to the movie that came out in 2007 based upon the trailers. And it's clearly obvious the parallels are similar.

That doesn't mean the movie itself can't be enjoyable. It should have just felt a little bit less predictability of what's about to happen. Hence them putting SS in GOTG3 and FF in Ant-Man 3 would have felt like a changeup

I gotcha…. I just think this movie will in its own way be different from the 2007 movie and I’m sure there are enough surprises that will not make it as predictable as you may assumes.

I will say this…. If we watch every trailer, every interview, every breakdown YouTube vid on Easter Eggs (Happy Easter Naggers) yes…. It’s gonna be predictable.

I limit a lot of the content I watch or read and try to go in as blind as I can be.

Here's exactly what's going to happen in that movie

- intro
- hero escapades
- change into FF
- disturbance of universe due to flight trip
- SS and Galactus coming
- SS takes sides of FF
- Galactus wins destroying that version of Earth
- wormhole opens to MCU where X-Men and the rest are etc
- after credits.

That's why it would have been so much better to put Silver Surfer inside of Guardians 3 instead of this.

This movie is going to be predictable as all hell.

You're being finessed if you think that's not going to be the general outcome of this movie

I agree more or less. however, I don't see them doing a movie with a sad ending where the heroes lose and run away at the end. I believe these plot leakes.

I don't think SS will be an Ally this time

"Very similar"? How? Just because the trailer had a scene that paid homage to the Johnny/Surfer scene in the 2007 film? That's not enough lol.

The 2000s FF films were NOT based in a retrofuturistic '60s world and did not feature any FF kids. Also, unless you believe the plot leaks (which I haven't read), I honestly don't know what's going to happen in First Steps (except the FF joining the main MCU timeline by the end of the movie).

:mjlol:Mannnnn the revisionist history that those early 2000s. Fantastic Four movies were good needs to stop. Seeing those movies getting glazed online, just to spite this movie is hilarious. Not saying that those movies didn’t have its moments. Laurence Fishburne’s Silver Surfer, Evan’s Johnny, and Chiklis’s Ben Grimm were dope. But other than that and a few good scenes. Those movies were on the same level as the 2003 Daredevil movie.

Not nikkas coddling the Tim Story joints knowing damn well they did not care for those movies. :dead:

Like I give a shyt if it’s semi-predictable, just give me a good fukkin’ F4 movie. Lmao.
To be fair there are valid reasons that people are seeing those movies in a more favorable light now.

Back then People complained because, the movies were campy, Dr Doom was inaccurate, Reed's characterization was wrong and they didn't like changes to the source material.

All those problems are the norm now in the MCU. people are used to campiness, and a lot of MCU characters and stories are unrecognizable from the comic book counterparts.

Also they seem to have put money into the special effects back then a lot of stuff still holds up.

Jessica Alba's cleavage in every other shot doesn't hurt either.

Yeah, Galactus as a literal cloud still holds up.
