I mean there was the 2007 film (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer).

The film was mid, but the Silver Surfer was one of the few bright spots.

The more trailers I see, the more I believe that Dr Doom isn't even apart of this universe like people assume he is. The fantastic four very clearly seem like the only heroes/super power beings in this world.

The director of First Steps (Matt Shakman) did say that the FF are the only superheroes in their world.

I think that Doomney will most likely show up in a mid/post-credits scene, though.
