Jim Starlin said he got paid more for KGBeast's appearance in Batman v Superman than he got for all of Thanos' appearances in the MCU and they didn't even use the KGBeast name for the character in BvS.
Additionally, they also send the creator an invitation to the premiere of the movie their work is featured in.
