They didn't have the faith in this project as much as you assume to believe. I'm not sayin they NEVER had discussions but that don't mean a damn thing. A Black Panther movie's been in the works since the late 90s when Wesley Snipes was tryin to get the rights. He settled for Blade ONLY because whoever was in charge of Marvel back then didn't back him up on making the an agreement & funding the film.
They, BEEN makin it" sh#t is denial & a side-effect of some heavy Marvel ball Lick'n.
Now, I don't think it's only Feige but he's not innocent on all the delay & judging from the past statements he's made about the character not being a priority all these announcements to me seem driven by reaction.

I don't know what the fukk you're rambling about, nor do I know much about Feige. Re-read what I said, because what you just said has literally nothing to do with it.
You said they didn't announce "Black Panther" at Comic-Con because of a lack of confidence, which makes zero sense because they just announced the biggest movie in their entire franchise ("The Infinity War") alongside it. By your logic why not announce that at Comic-Con too? A lack of confidence? Today was meant to be an important event no matter how you look at it.
That was literally the only point I was making. I never said they had "BP" planned out in advance. I honestly have no idea what the fukk you're ranting about.
Now, as far as the rest of what you said, I seriously doubt Marvel gives a single fukk about what DC is doing, because they're so far behind at this point it's irrelevant. I know some DC fan boys will take that as a "shot" but it's the reality of the situation. Marvel had the foresight to gamble with this connected MCU arc, and it paid off. It could've just as easily failed, but it didn't. Now DC is scrambling to build a similarly connected story, but they're 6 years behind.

Very happy for Chadwick, especially if it's true he got a 5 Pic deal. They really tried to put him in a box with those black bio-pics. He still acted his a$$ off. I think could do well in the part. Don't really like the date though, should of been a Summer Release. Thor 3 should be November as it's more esblished. But that's another debate. But I'm very happy they are FINALLY taking this step after sidekick, after sidekick role. Hopefully either an esbalished or up and coming Black Director could get the gig also. As well as some Black or other minority writers.
Let's REALLY be serious about diversity. "Cap 3 Civil War" and "Avengers Infinity War 1 and 2" sound very serious. Iffy on "Captain Marvel" and "Ant-Man". "Dr. Strange" is cool but we'll see. Then they've moved "Guardians" to the Big Time by giving it a May spot. Interesing they are bringing Thor back to the Summer with a July spot. But I have to say, Phase 2 have been hit or miss but Phase three does look better than I expected if they can pull all these off. Cause will this Avengers cast make it to 2019?
there are parts in Avengers 2, a movie that's already done filming & had it's final script written far before that, which set up Black Panther. Additionally they announced today that Cap 3, a movie that has had drafts & rewrites and goes into production in April has Black Panther as a major character. Anyone thinking that announcing the Black Panther movie is a reaction to what DC did a week ago is delusional.
Personally I like spider man and x men having their own universes
I don't give a damn breh just want more spider man movies. As long as nothing resembles that ultimate spider man cartoon
X men especially. I dont think having a huge population of mutants syncs up with heros. I mean it just undermines heros being special by having so many mutants. The fukks captain america gonna do against powerful mutants.or iron man against magneto
Fantastic four though would fit in perfectly in mcu.

I didn't even want to point this out, because that wasn't the point of what I was saying....but yeah. People were pointing out Ulysses Klaw in the "Ultron" trailer the day it dropped....how far in advance did they have to plan that out? People act like movies are written, cast, shot, and go into post-production in a month.

Yep. "Justice League Part 1" dropping around that time. As well as The Avatar Sequels and Star Wars Spin Offs. I don't like the date. It should of been in July in "Thor 3" spot or in an August Spot like "Guardians" was.
