Daniel Richtman on Patreon says 'Blade’ is set to begin filming in 2025 in the United Kingdom. He says the film will have a smaller budget and will be very dark (R-Rated) as they’re working on a new script again.

Yall gotta speak with your wallets and not go see any Marvel movies in theaters.
It's what the angry Internet white dudes try to do. But if something from Disney is good it makes money. Maybe not a billion dollars these days, but 750 to 850 million is a win any day of the week. Guardians 3 was a major success. But then you look at Ant Man 3 and it didn't crack 500. Thor made 760, but he's grandfathered in I guess. Plus it was before people really saw the major fall in quality. It's all spotty. You can't see a pattern because there's always something happening that can explain away a failure. Marvels was during the Hollywood strikes. But then Deadpool 3 makes a billion.

>I misspoke when I said that Blade may have been kept off until the Multiverse Saga. The issue mainly stems from Marvel having kept Blade off their internal schedule LONG before the trades even announced it.

>But to my understanding, the film has the highest priority for release given the amount of time it’s been in development. It’s a matter of getting the story right, and it may seem incredulous to some, but yes, it is difficult to set this story up since it sets up so much.

>The idea is for Blade is to have a development similar to Doctor Strange when he was introduced to the MCU: Establish him as a character and his corner of the universe in the previous saga so that that corner (in this case the supernatural) is explored heavily in the next saga.

We will most likely get a better product since the movie will be free from the multiverse saga dragging it down.

It looks like prior to that storyline collapsing they were setting up Midnite Sons/West Coast avengers/ and young avengers teams that no one cares about.

Blade is strong enough to carry his own films. They should just drop a stand alone solo instead of folding him into everything else.

RR says WS got to have his kids see the reaction that Blade got during Hall H's showing of the flick. RR also said it would be good for WS to get a send-off movie, and then they can do the Ali version.

Kevin Feige commented on the production delays for Blade, stating that the MCU remains committed to making the film happen - with Mahershala Ali in the lead role.

"We are committed to Blade. We love the personage, we love the version that Mahershala gives him. Let's not worry: every time we change direction with some project, we are still trying to understand how it fits into our agenda, we communicate to the public. "You are up to date with what is happening," Feige commented. "But we can tell that the character is going to enter the MCU."
