That's assuming that this woman became transgender for economical reasons. I was under the impression that transgenders felt that way since they could remember. I'm a womanist, and there's a difference.I don't know if you classify yourself as an feminists; but this would hurt in the long run. It looks crazy that a man changed himself into a woman and is still making more money than a woman that was born a woman. So in long term thinking or thinking outside of the box; what happens if men that were getting less pay decieded to change sexes and become women and are getting more money than cis gender women. That means there is no feminist movement because you cant say I'm mad because this trans woman is getting more money than me and I'm a cis woman. Now your fighting a war on both fronts; aginst men and men that changed themselves into women.

Womanists don't subscribe to white feminism because we know that white women are just as scummy as their male counterparts, and that they don't care about women of color in any way. Womanists look at the unique black female experience.
