The movie, from Red Granite Pictures and Paramount, headlines Leonardo DiCaprio as real-life former stockbroker Jordan Belfort.

Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, headlining Leonardo DiCaprio, will open in theaters Nov. 15, just as awards season kicks into high gear.

Paramount is releasing the film, based on former broker Jordan Belfort's best-selling memoir. Red Granite is fully financing and producing.

Wolf of Wall Street also stars Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal, Cristin Milioti, P.J. Byrne and Ethan Suplee.

Terence Winter adapted the screenplay, which chronicles Belfort's dramatic rise and fall on Wall Street and with his hard-partying lifestyle and tumultuous personal life, which included drug and alcohol addiction.

Red Granite's Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland are producing with DiCaprio, Scorsese, Emma Koskoff and Alexandra Milchan.

Universal also announced several release shifts on Thursday. The studio is moving up Mark Wahlberg-Denzel Washington action 2 Guns from Aug. 16 to Aug. 2, where it will go up against 300: Rise of An Empire and Red 2.

Relocating to the Aug. 16 date is Universal's Kick-Ass 2, which was to have opened on June 28.

Additionally, Universal said it will convert this summer's supernatural action-adventure R.I.P.D. to 3D. The film's date of July 19 isn't changing. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges.

:pachaha:

I love this random supporting cast. Spike Jonze and Jon Favreau are also in it :dead:

But I wish Leo wasn't in it. I can't take more of him and Scorsese

Leo and Scorsese NEVER disappoint. The fact that Leo didn't get a Best Supporting Actor Nom (along with Sam Jackson.) for Django is a fukking tragedy. The man is the Nas of the film industry with the way he gets snubbed...

THIS movie though, seems like it might be his ace. The premise plus Scorsese's involvement PLUS the casting seems spot on...
