Scene is :dead:

But what made it 10x more funny was watching Tommy and Gina try to hold their laughs in

This alone made the scene. RIP Tommy:wow:

pork n bean juice made martin break...

martin is goat because them nikkas broke character often...

fresh prince was trash

sanford n son was dope....up until he went to hollywood...

Martin was funnier

Fresh prince was the better overall show. :hubie:
I can see that perspective. It depends on a person’s preference. TFPOBA explored more topics and had broader mainstream appeal. Most of the ‘serious’ eps of Martin were more so cracks in his relationship with Gina, and that one ep in which they thought Tommy was seriously hurt. Season 5 of Martin started ok, but you can tell he was going through it in his personal life. The last season of TFPOBA had its moments but was not too good as well. Will basically was doing his impersonation of Martin and became a burden and pretty much was clueless on his next phase compared to every one else.

That was a hilarious interview and did K-Ci say at the end that he has swung on all of the other members of Jodeci at one time or another lol?!

I had to go back and watch the Jodeci/Martin performance again and their reactions definitely seem real...K-Ci took his sunglasses off and just glared at Martin from jump!

:russ:

That was a great setup Martin pulled off. It remains my #1 favorite episode.

My favorite episode was the one right before this one

My favorite scene of any TV show of all time was when Martin broke character and laughed at Varnell in the radio station interview

Starts @1:15

Martin couldn’t even look him in the eye

:mjlol:

Believe it or not this wasn’t scripted either

I can tell they both had trouble staying in character!

Tommy Davidson and Martin Lawrence...2 out of the top 3 comedians to come out of DC right there in that scene (Dave Chappelle is the other one from DC)
