Different amish groups/families vary in their belief structure. they aren't uniform. Some are still adamant against tech to this, others basically live like regular people but just rock the traditional attire. I've seen some riding horse and buggy, and others driving cars. Lots of different levels

They actually have a tradition where their youth go out and live like regular people for a few months and the women typically get smutted out. They then are faced with a choice of the Amish life or banishment with no choice to return.
