Gonna try and peep with the old lady this weekend to help.

Films don't get 100% of box office receipts. Big films on opening weekend get 90% or so, it drops from there. Randomly off the top of my head I'm guessing a small film like that needs to make at least $25+ million box office to recoup a $20 million budget. Though they still have rental and whatever to make a little more.
