it junk that’s the point. You wear the proper shoes for the ceremony and pictures but at the reception it’s a party. I wish I wore sneakers at the reception. My feet were killing mr even the next day.
Also, who’s smashing on their wedding night? I was dead tired. Got to our room at 3am. Taking the dress off took time and I think I fell asleep in my clothes.

I guess it made sense before when folk were virgins but the whole smashing part is overrated if you’ve smashed million times before. Didn’t do any of the gimmicky stuff.
weddings are great when you are a guest. Tougher when you’re part of the wedding party and even worse if you’re the maid of honour or best man (best man twice).
Thryre good as long as folk don’t cheap out (cash bar, cheap food, terrible venue, etc)
