For years the Coli OGs have been warning us young boys to be wary if wifing a girl (aside from for professional reasons such as she’s a Doctor) who refuses to take your last name. It’s wild how research studies lend credence some stuff y’all have been saying for years lol. I know two girls who got around in college and recently got married and they didn’t take their husband’s last name.

Logically it’s not that surprising. If a woman is less confident about the longevity of the marriage, she’ll be less likely to take last name.
