Burton also wanted the main villain to be Billy D’s two face but execs thought the film would be too black with Marlon & Billy D in the movie so they went totally left and :mjpls: the entire cast.
Now that Two Face sounds intriguing :patrice:

Batman Returns would be considered a lit classic today if it wasn’t for all those changes

Batman 89 points to a lot of the direction Burton actually wanted to go in. It would’ve been way ahead of its time with an integrated cast of both supporting black villain and supporting hero.

That said, shyt def would’ve been lit. I think Billy D had been preparing to take over where Jack left off from Joker to be a two face menace, and def had the chops to pull that off.
