You're underestimating medical racism

TOS happens after being bed ridden for a bit, the muscles the hold the spine up collapse on each other from atrophy, this slumps your shoulders forward and doesn't give you the ability to move your scapula to extend your arms over head.
After a while it causes nerve irritation from the compression.

Just think of a bat with a bad wing trying to fly

The fact he's slow lead him to ignore his body making matters worse

If he was in any other developed nation it would have been diagnosed right the first time
your point about medical racism/developed healthcare would absolutely hold water if everyone around this kid didn't stand to make MILLIONS more with his success and LOSE money with this type of cascading failure. he's not the average or median line black national and its disingenuous to label him as such for this type of situation and issue.

there's plenty of people further down the chain to experiment on and fukk over that aren't gonna get your practice blacklisted or thrown under the bus. and i'd love to jump into the discussion of how D1A kids are basically thrown into the blender when it comes to their medical handling.... no one stands to profit on fultz being fukked up - and money > racism. shyt, money IS racism. there's no money to be made in this multi-level failure of everyone involved. only negatives for anyone who's ever touched this thing.

this is plainly a fukk up. and again, they're full of shyt. these doctors and trainers are free to check for muscular imbalances when NOTHING is wrong with the player. there's no point in pretending that something went under the radar for this long unless either philly or fultz' camp was purposefully withholding information regarding the difficulties/ailments or the cause of the injury to begin with. along with whatever bootleg treatments that they did without oversight.

Breh you don't become a medical racist one day after you get a job with the league.

It starts as children white folks don't think of us as the same as them.

They prescribe us less pain meds for the score injuries because they believe we handle pain better.

What am I saying is, they can't mentally be bothered about caring about a nikka.

shyts subconscious

As for fultz they cared so little they thought it was a shoulder injury

Do you understand how ignorant that is?

If you Google his symptoms right now it'll say you most likely have tos :mjlol:

He's slow he couldn't communicate his issue, but at the same time none of those docs gave a fukk:yeshrug:

your whole premise is that money has no involvement in all this

i completely agree with the statement that medical racism exists. is it a factor here? not only is there too much money and reputation for all involved to be lost by this sort of failure, there's simply too many hands involved in it for it to be effectively concealed - and concealment (or sanctioning from a much higher level than a simple sports franchise. for example a university > the sixers) is how medical racism flourishes in the first place. and even if you wanted to say that fultz is a target, why him of all people? if you want to dismiss the above regarding vulnerability/risk/money, then what makes a fultz a grander target than the more outspoken and visible players/performers/etc out there?

again, i don't disagree with you regarding medical racism. i will however say that the conspiracies to commit such acts almost never involve high profile individuals as targets who happen to have a revolving door of medical personnel already attached to them. and if these things still happen, the amount of effort and coordination involved generally means you go for someone bigger than this kid.

Well come back to this convo in a few months

Here's clinic mistreating acl tears across all major sports

Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari regrets going to Vail's Steadman Clinic for first knee procedure

Gallinari’s comments about The Steadman Clinic are pretty damning, given his profile and his lengthy recovery. As Gallinari noted, Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook also went to The Steadman Clinic to have his torn right meniscus repaired in April of 2013, after he collided with Houston’s Patrick Beverley in during a first-round playoff game. Westbrook underwent another surgery in October of 2013 to repair a loose stitch, and then a third operation in December to address excessive swelling.

Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi is said to be facing another five months on the sideline after undergoing another surgery on his right knee. Rossi underwent surgery to repair his injured right ACL in October of 2011. On Friday, Rossi underwent his fourth knee surgery, performed by Dr. Steadman.

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn underwent multiple procedures by Dr. William Sterrett, formerly of The Steadman Clinic, to repair ligaments in her knees re-injuries to those ligaments. Sterrett was fired by The Steadman Clinic in 2011 and later sued the company. Vonn reportedly switched surgeons and had her latest operation, an ACL repair in January of this year, performed by the renowned Dr. James Andrews, in Florida.

According to the clinic’s website, Dr. Steadman — whose list of clients “include 26 athletes from professional soccer, 45 from the NFL, 23 from the MLB, 8 in the NBA and 26 snow skiers” — retired from surgical practice at the end of January of this year.

Like I said we have a 3rd world medical system

imagine believing you're getting proper treatment from psychopaths with racial prejudice :mjlol:

Fultz a multi-million dollar asset, if he's receiving poor care it's not due to racism :mjlol:

Sixers might just have shytty docs, Lakers sure as hell do

I waited two years for Embiid, I can wait for Markelle :yeshrug: if he can get his jumper back he can still be a great player

Already a good defender, still shifty with the ability to create separation and get anywhere on the floor with his handle + change of direction and speed, jelly around the rim, high level athleticism, elite size and length, court vision, natural PnR ability, etc. he's only 20
I respect your loyalty breh :salute:

I’m rooting for Markelle and hope he can at least be a 6th man
