He's doing what other people who can afford it are doing: building a self sustaining bunker so he can hide out from the people who will (correctly) want to dismember him live on stream.
I actually think the investment in AI and robotics is how a lot of these billionaires are preparing. In a bunker you still have to pay humans to be your security and still have to feed them. Thing is the humans with weapons can just decide to kill you and take over your bunker. With an AI powered team of robots and automated home then you don't have to worry.
This is the rich trying to escape from the consequences of their own actions.
