He's had a quiet history of hitting on his younger co-stars project to project, hence why he hooked up with Nina when she was 19 and he was over 30. Even tried to hit on a producer's daughter on the set of Lost
To be fair to Ian 19 is legal and Nina Dobrev is a top ten white bytch to me.. I'm shooting my shot with her on sight :manny:

Full story news clip from Clevver News:

One of our favorite shows EVER has been infected with Hollywood’s growing sex-abuse scandal. TV writer Audrey Wauchope has come forward on Twitter with claims of sexual abuse by One Tree Hill’s creator Mark Schwahn. Audrey and writing partner Rachel Specter were prompted to their story public after Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg was suspended by Warner Bros.

On Twitter Audrey started out by saying QUOTE, “...a couple thoughts about my first writing job that I’ve wanted to say for years but have never had the guts to.” Audrey went on in a series of tweets to explain what happened without actually naming the creator by name. But she didn’t have to. “One of the 1st things we were told was that the showrunner hired female writers on the basis of their looks. That's why you're here - he wants to f*ck you. Rachel had been actress previous to writing and was told that he used to talk about her in the room before we were hired.” Audrey explained she immediately felt like an imposter because she was hired for her body not her mind. And from day one she felt uncomfortable with the way the creator touched female employees. Men on staff would even try to sit next to the female writers to shield them from the showrunner.

In addition, male staffers were unwillingly shown photos of naked actresses the creator was having an affair with. And the day before Audrey’s writing partner Rachel left for her wedding he asked if she really wanted to go through with it and if he had a shot with her?! That, my friends, is abuse of power. Audrey ended saying QUOTE, “I blame a system that allows one person to have so much power they can do whatever they want. I’m furious and sad and everything else for the women who have sat on that couch next to that man. I write all this to say that there are trickle down psychological effects to all this and the town is littered with all the collateral damage of abusers…”

The leading ladies of One Tree Hill wasted no time coming forward to support Audrey. Sophia Bush tweeted, “For the record. I stand with Audrey. @audreyalison#BurnItDownSis. And to the bad guys? Yeah. @HilarieBurton”. Hilarie Burton chimed in replying to multiple tweets, “Hey girl. Count me in.” And, “Burn it down, sis. Love your bravery. I back your play 100%. Let's talk. Xo”. Betheny Joy Lenz tweeted simply, “Thank you @audreyalison”. In addition to banding together on twitter, 18 cast and crew members came together to make a joined statement speaking out against the show’s “open secret”. The letter reads in part: “Many of us were, to varying degrees, manipulated psychologically and emotionally. More than one of us is still in treatment for post-traumatic stress. Many of us were put in uncomfortable positions and had to swiftly learn to fight back…” The letter goes on to say they were encouraged to keep quiet about the situations that made them feel unsafe for fear the show would get canceled.

:damn:

“One Tree Hill” star Hilarie Burton detailed sexual assault allegations against showrunner Mark Schwahn on Friday, saying that he forced himself upon her on multiple occasions, once while on a call with then-CW President Dawn Ostroff.

Burton said in an interview with Variety that Schwahn began pursuing an inappropriate relationship with her in the show’s third season, when he decided that she was “his muse.” Then, while on location during filming of the show’s fourth season, he kissed Burton in a limo while pitching the show’s fifth season to the network.

“I’m leaning in listening, and when it’s Dawn Ostroff’s turn to talk, he just leans over and starts kissing me,” she said. “I push him off, but I can’t say anything, because he’s on the phone fighting for our show to stay on the air. I’m just in this position where I’m thinking, ‘You’ve got to take it, Hil. Just laugh it off. You’ll get to Wilmington [North Carolina] in 45 minutes.'”

She also said that Schwahn stuck his hand in her pants in 2006, which was corroborated by Burton’s co-star Danneel Ackles, and that he kissed her at a party for the show’s cast and crew.

After Burton told him to stop making inappropriate contact with the women on the show, Burton told Variety that he “screamed” at her for half an hour. “He went crazy,” she said. “I know exactly what this man’s hands look like, and they are my f—ing nightmare. I think of hands when I think of him, because they were relentless.”

Ackles also spoke to Variety about Schwahn’s relentless pursuit of a relationship with her, including showing up to her apartment and refusing to leave. Several writers also spoke out against Schwahn’s behavior, saying that he repeatedly sexualized the women on staff and made inappropriate contact.

Former “One Tree Hill” writer Audrey Wauchope was the first to accuse Schwahn of misbehavior on Twitter earlier this week. However, she was soon backed up by the female stars of the hit show, including Sophia Bush, Burton and Bethany Joy Lenz, who released a joint statement saying they had also been “psychologically and emotionally” by the showrunner, calling it “an open secret.”

“Many of us were, to varying degrees, manipulated psychologically and emotionally. More than one of us is still in treatment for post-traumatic stress,” the statement read. “Many of us were put in uncomfortable positions and had to swiftly learn to fight back, sometimes physically, because it was made clear to us that the supervisors in the room were not the protectors they were supposed to be.

“Many of us were spoken to in ways that ran the spectrum from deeply upsetting, to traumatizing, to downright illegal. And a few of us were put in positions where we felt physically unsafe. More than one woman on our show had her career trajectory threatened.”

Schwahn was later suspended from his current E! series “The Royals” as the network and producers launched an investigation into his behavior.

A total of 25 female cast and crew members of “The Royals” issued their own statement accusing Schwahn of similar behavior.

“Despite hearing rumours about his behaviour on One Tree Hill, those of us involved from the early stages went into the filming of the pilot hoping they were just that – rumours. By the time we wrapped this had irrevocably proven not to be the case,” the letter read.

WB/CW always been based around teens and early 20s actors. I'm sure there's a lot more that went on there. Someone has a fetish for that type of casting.
