With KAT, Westbrook, Durant and AD, is it really still possible for him to be the best player at any extended period of time?
No hate, I like the kid, just curious.
Westbrook/KD are in a different place than him, he just turned 22 while those guys are 28 so his prime & peak will be when they're on the decline. Him being the best isn't that crazy as it seems now, he's playing at an incredible level and is still raw offensively but his IQ is high and he plays within those limitations (Jumper).
For the players 23 and under the only guy that's clear cut better than him right now is Anthony Davis, KAT is nowhere near him right now, defensively if you started Giannis at center you'd have better results than KAT playing there, he's a monster at protecting the rim and the Bucks switch him onto centers without losing anything.
1. AD
2. Giannis
3. Embiid
4. Porzingis
5. KAT
He's by far the best perimeter player 23 and under, and if you bump it up to 25 and under the only guy you can make a case for is Kawhi who will be 26.
