Jackson could have easily made his point about the game hurting at the lower level without invoking Steph. Kids taking bad shots and being enamored with scoring has nothing to do with Curry.

Honestly at the lower levels I see more kids dominating the ball on the perimeter and not moving off the ball than I do the 3 point shot. The lack of movement is the biggest issue with the game right now. Kids hold the ball to up their assist numbers because they see that as being "well rounded."

But Mark wouldnt point to that because he doesnt have an axe to grind with anyone else besides GS.

Kobe too, how many motherfukkers thought they were Kobe shooting fadeaways with poor shot selection ? did it hurt the game ? no, on the contrary, Kobe's popularity is what got a lot of kids in the game

why I never heard about AI, Kobe or KD ruining the game ?

dont hate the player, hate the game. hate the mindset of the league, coaching and philosophy. ofc this can be a chicken and the egg problem, but lack of big men with post skills isnt necessarily attributed to seeing curry or ai or durant play. the league is a totally different that it was when big men dominated.
