Hearing Mark Jackson say it live, it didn't sound nearly as bad as the media made it out to be. It seems like everything he says about the Warriors has been blown up to portray him as a villain. The vast majority of his comments about the Warriors has been positive since he was fired.

alot of Jackson haters disguising as objective NBA fans

The successful Euro big men who preferred jump shots did fawkup the game
The successful volume shooters did fawkup the game
The successful stars who could jump high, while other parts of their game was shyt did fawkup the game
The successful stars with great ball handle, breaking ankles did fawkup the game

they all fawked the game up because other more important lessons and skills are sacrificed for what skill a successful star exhibits in highlight clips. Media folks and fans are praising a particular skill of the moment, but then pretend that skill won't be practiced and sought after in the gym/pickup games

it's pretty easy to understand what mark was trying to say :manny:

the reasons why his soundbite blew up the way it did is because:

1. people love to get outraged over anything these days

2. people just don't like mark jackson and are looking for reasons to clown him

dudes in here having meltdowns and twisting his words :mjlol:

talking about the playground and pickup games, when he clearly says 'HIGH SCHOOL GYMS'

you know, where ball is suppose to have some structure. where the next generation of nba prospects are coming thru.

like mark jackson really gives a flying fuk about some :flabbynsick: jacking contested 3s at your local park :russ:

He said verbatim he's hurting the game to a degree because kids in high school run straight to the 3 point line.

That's just all levels of foolish.

these dudes just running with the contrarian "YOU GUYS ARE ALL STUPID HEADS" agenda when the idiocy of what he said is plain is day. it was DUMB, plain and simple. and his acrimony and resentment towards the Warriors winning without him got this dude so sick he's not even thinking before he opens his mouth.

when people go out of their way to say some dumb shyt like, at that level, there's usually an underlying motivation even if they don't realize it :francis:

the only person that says more slick shyt about the Warriors is Barkley

I knew folks would cartwheel into this post caping for this dude but when people like him make statements like that they are trying to arouse an emotional reaction. wonder why :jbhmm:

No, because anyone who thinks Steph is hurting basketball is an idiot. He's making the connection that Steph being such a good shooter has trickled down to high school kids taking bad shots. That isn't is fault to begin with and seems purely anecdotal to me.

:ehh:
