is Shaq responsible for Deandre Jordan's free throw shooting? :skip:

on a serious note, when Dr. J and MJ popularized "playing above the rim" and all that were people saying it was hurting the game? :jbhmm:

Apparently, it wasn't much of an issue when Andrew Wiggins was being called the next LeBron James, and it will be the same topic of conversation when LSU freshman Ben Simmons goes pro—because those guys are long, athletic and provide the flashy highlight dunks.
from the Andrew Wiggins link, "4. He has room to grow. Wiggins still isn't a great ball-handler, his jump-shot isn't there yet (neither was LeBron's)"

still isn't :lolbron:

I went and played at a local gym the other day.

3 games to 15 by 1's and 2's

There was an average of 12 points per team scored by 3's in all the games:snoop:

Yes! Especially white people. Understand this, the NBA banned dunking because of Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

i know they banned dunking because of Kareem but I have trouble reconciling that white folks were saying that "Air Jordan" was hurting the game

they banned dunking in basketball in the NBA from 1967-1976
Dr. J was playing in the ABA at the time but by the time MJ came around it had to have been pretty commonplace, right?

but a lot more of the young kids do it now because Steph. simply because it has become more acceptable to just jack up a bunch of 3s. im not saying its ruining the NBA game. how ever it is making it hard to watch in the HS games. because these young kids wants to pull up from fukking half court & shyt. i mean we have 3 brothers out here from Chino Hills, called the ball brothers. these nikkas are basically mini stephs. all they do is shoot 3s. look them up.

:wtf:

The NBA promotes Curry, Bron, CP3, Griffin, Harden, Westbrook, Durant...they tried to push AD and Lilliard. They'll probably push Drummond, Greek Freak and Wiggins more next year.

Curry gets the most coverage because he's the face of the best team in the league.
Tom Brady isn't the NFL. The main problem with the NBA is that they put more emphasis on the back of the jersey than the front of it. They do a shyt job of promoting teams as opposed to players.

Players have a shelf life. Teams don't.

They actually banned it for a while, because their white counterparts were incapable of performing the same feats with that type of ease

You falling for the bullshyt too? :snoop:

He's always saying slick shyt about them...not necessarily about Steph. Honestly, he shouldn't announce their games, but that's not really his call.

Probably a little harsh to call him a ho though, since I understand why he's salty.
