If we want to talk wasted opportunities, cesaro not being given a main event push in 2014 was flat out pathetic

Wins Andre Memorial Battle Royal, gets paired with Paul Heyman, Paul Heyman does nothing but cut promos about Brock Lesnar :laff::laff:. Those back to back matches he had with Cena then Orton on SD were fantastic.

As far as Mark Henry, it was a terribly wasted opportunity. Could have been the perfect set-up for another title run, but all it did was serve to give Cena another notch on his belt, and Mark Henry ain't sniffed that type of attention ever since.

The wwe weren't expecting Mark henry`s retirement to become as well received as it did.

A lot of people were emotionally involved in the storyline.

I agree with the wasted opportunity, but there's been plenty of other opportunities that the wwe either dropped the ball on or never made the attempt to capitalize on.

I think part of it was bad timing, since Bryan's rise was coinciding that summer. Part of it was I think that they didn't plan on that feud being anything but a one and done feud to hold off till Summerslam but that promo was so :wow: that it caught fire. But I think they should've just had Mark and Cena feud immediately after Wrestlemania, especially when you consider Ryback and Cena fought over the belt, when Mark was the one who beat Ryback at Mania.

I was hoping what I said made sense lol.

But remember you had kane and big show giving giving rubs to Roman and rolling even though they were already legitimate. And now you have show trying to put over stroman every other month

Difference is Kane and big show both had the belt multiple times... and they're white

:jbhmm: Ain't it ironic that R-Truth was built up and feed to Cena in 2011, just 1 month before CM Punk's big break at Money in the Bank.

Fast forward to 2013, Henry was built up and feed to Cena, just 1 month before Daniel Bryan's big break at Summerslam.

What a coincidence? :mjpls:

He was quite healthy then and they absolutely could've gotten two more main events out of it.

He literally just came back from injury the night before. :martin:

That "four ropes" promo probably ruined it for him.

June 2013. Here's a better booked feud. Have Mark win MITB. Still do Cena/DB. Let the shyt play it like it did with Henry cashing in.

Have DB chase the belt for a few months before he wins.

Better than that shytty Orton reign. At least there's a better story in the David vs Goliath scenario.
