Balor and enzo would be give the CW division new life
It's a shame the Cruiserweight title is basically meaningless, because Balor vs Neville would be a money feud. As is though, it's too far a step down for Balor.

Finn's last two feuds were against The Drifter and pre-Smackdown jobber status Jinder Mahal.:skip:

And yet that's still a drop down for someone to go to the cruiserweight division. Which is absurd. FOR SURE Neville weighs at least 25 pounds more than Balor, especially post shoulder injury where he's even smaller than he was before that. Neville is short as hell, but also absurdly thick and jacked for his size. Balor is really cut, but a pretty small dude overall. He's slightly taller than Neville, but when they're together Neville looks like he's twice as wide and thick. Also a way better talent in the ring. In a perfect world Neville's king of the cruiserweights reign would somehow end up with him as at least the top dude on SD.

AJ is too much of a main eventer. Right now he's making the US Championship look like the most important championship right now. He's too much of a star.

Finn has the exact same potential to be that on Raw as the most popular face on the brand. Additionally you try to write the first universal champion voluntarily going to the purple division. Thats russorific. What I had in mind was simply bringing up Aleister Black and have him running through guys the same way Neville is and building up to clash at Mania. I feel that most of the roster is a sunken cost and you gotta start over with new faces, which there's more than enough of. They've kept Pete Dunne away from it thankfully, but I see superstar potential in him.

Yup and it's still a step down. Which should tell you what they think of the cruiserweights.

The only way Balor would get that strap is if they wanted to use him like they're using AJ to try and elevate the title. And even then, that only works because of the talent AJ has around him vying for the US title: Cena, Nak, Owens, likely Rusev, Jericho when he comes back. Former or potential world champions. If Balor got the CW strap, what heel would he feud with besides Neville that would really feel on his level? Noam Darr? Tony Nese? Ariya Davari? They want Balor to eventually be world champion again; they ain't gonna have him having competitive feuds with these people. Even in your examples, the Drifter hasn't beaten him clean yet and he squashed Jinder.

If they really wanted the Crusierweight division to be something to the point where it wouldn't feel like a waste for someone like Balor, they'd have to reboot the whole thing. Start tossing in guys like Aleister Black, Gargano, Ciampa, Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne, and have the division revolve mostly around them. With the current roster they have, whom the audience has mostly checked out on, you can't start tossing in main guys and have it not feel awkward. They need a clean slate.

Enzo's problem is he can't wrestle worth a damn and they market the Crusierweight division almost entirely around their in-ring ability. Like, could you imagine Enzo trying to put on a match with Mustafa Ali or TJP? Even Cesaro struggled to have a decent match with dude.

Agreed. The division is a lost cause in its current form. It could be saved with a total makeover, but I doubt Vince cares enough about it for all that.

Enzo can't wrestle. The Cruiserweight Division has a major emphasis on wrestling. He wouldn't fit in.

They might as well reboot then

Henry should be their main agent or at least Regal's second when it comes to picking talent. He's always supporting and helping dudes that are crazy talented or at least have big potential.
