no...because I dont look like a Chief Keef clone.

Yall just go straight to "omg he's racist he thinks every last black person in a hoodie is dangerous".
Come on now...he was just trying to make a point.

Threads like this make me wonder if yall actually have ever lived in the hood.
In Chicago, kids/teens (whatever you want to call them) would all wear the same thing (plain hoody or T shirt if its summer) so that you couldnt give a detailed description of them.
This was common knowledge!

You cats really think the Ralph Lauren photos are the type of cats Cuban was talking about?

he said black kid in general....didn't even mention at least a bulge in the pants with a gun.

he was specific about the white dude description...it wasn't a blanket piece of clothing.

Ha, this is why I laughed my ass off when Stephen A. Smith was like Mark Cuban doesn't have racist bone in his body. Here he is confirming that he does. Ugh, that's why I cant half stand the guy and of course he will sugar coat and defend this shyt on First Take.

this is kind of why I dont get the outrage.
If people cant speak openly...how does anyone expect things to change? Every time someone says something certain groups dont agree w/ it becomes a big uproar. He clearly said we all have our prejudices....why pretend like we dont?

I dont know where yall are from...but in the fall/spring a black hoodie w/ baggy jeans is the uniform of cats doing dirt.

Exactly. Yall gonna pretend like you never got on a plan, saw a Muslim, and automatically had a negative thought? Everyone has prejudices that pop up, the question is how you address them.

:comeon:Has Mark Cuban lived in the hood? I"m sure the "street" that he was crossing was not in a hood in the Chi. So you don't know what he meant by a black kid in a hoody. I'm sure he would have no issues with a white kid in a hoody. I'm also sure he would be just as scared of a black kid with a shaved head and tattoos.

Im not even mad at mark im not shocked he thinks this way either. What bothers me is folks who are cosigning Cuban saying his comments are different than what Donald Sterling said

After checking out the segment. While I don't completely agree with Mark Cuban, I feel where he's coming from, until Donald Sterling came out unapologetic in his subsequent interviews, I had a shred of leniency for him. I'm a firm believer in the importance of privacy, and how its totally different to say something in public and in one's home. Yeah he was recorded saying foul shyt. *NewsFlash* People say foul, vile shyt in the privacy of their own homes. Ultimately while I feel what Cuban is saying he's taking a huge risk caping for Sterling.

Thing is you can't legislate how people SHOULD feel. I have an aunt that moved out to lily white Shelby County, because she's scared of all the "thuggish" and "gangster" Black kids in Birmingham. Is that not HER prerogative.

i dont think sterling should be voted out or fined, because he didnt break any rules. yea hes a scumbag, but lets stop pretending like theres legal recourse. there isnt

however, public opinion should dictate his punishment. anyone who has issue with him shouldnt support his team, and business

imagine if no black dudes would play for him and he had to run with an all white squad :russ:

she moved away from crime....she didn't move away from a kid in a hoddie focused on studies and uplifting black people.

cuban was focused on one article of cothing as it came to blacks.
