Nah it actually wasn't the judge's fault his hands were tied. It's the fault of the jury and the FL legislature who came up with these retarded mandatory laws. A lot of states have them.

She choose to forego a plea deal and fight the case with a stand your ground defense, and when she lost, the mandatory minimum that states you get an automatic 20 years for firing a gun while committing a felony kicks in and the judge has no discretion to reduce it.

In a sane world, she wouldn't gotten about 10 days on jail, a fine, and some probation.
True that's one thing that I've been noticing is these mandatory/minumum's are a joke

Lol I know you don't know. Neither does the millions of people who liken this case to George Zimmermans. Apples and Oranges. She was completely in the wrong. Read the details. She was not in imminent danger. She had an opportunity to flea. She retrieved a weapon and returned to face off with her "attacker"..:camby:

Didn't Zimmerman have a chance to flee, but instead he choose to pursue and face off with his supposed "attacker". So in a way this is similar to the Zimmerman case.

Safely walk away from a hostile situation and come back with a loaded gun from your car and fire it in a house full of children then say you did it because the person you had time to walk away from was an immediate threat to you brehs
Cite the state's deposition as if it's fact and ignore that Ms. Alexander said she didn't know Rico Gray was home, and he was there in violation of a restraining order against her for repeatedly beating her ass including once hospitalizing her and he admits to that as well as beating several other women brehs.

But she didnt shoot at him. Plus she ran out of her house to a car with no keys..

But if you fire a weapon in the area of someone you just had a dispute with :aicmon: And if she didn't have keys, what prevented her from going to a neighbors house? Why would she return back into the house with a firearm? That she didn't intend on using after getting into an argument?

Didn't Zimmerman have a chance to flee, but instead he choose to pursue and face off with his supposed "attacker". So in a way this is similar to the Zimmerman case.

What Zimmerman did while morally pathetic wasn't illegal. He pursued but it turned into self defense for Zimmerman by trayvon reacting which is fukked up because it would have been almost everyone's reaction. Still Apples and Oranges.
