I read 'Thirsty' as a diss to that hump Nick Cannon. I'll give this a listen, i still come back to her 90s jams.

I am enjoying the album. There are definitely songs that are pertained to her current relationship: namely 'Camouflage'- even the sequencing of the songs is a tell-tell sign, as it goes from 'Camouflage' to 'Money ($*/...) and she says at the beginning 'I can't leave it like that.'

Aside from the songs that had been released, I would say that my favorites are Money ($*/...), Faded, One More Try (Another example of her making a cover song her own and I love George Michael's version, but Mariah really killed this). Supernatural is the song that features her children aka 'Dembabies' and its cute. I love the extra ad-lib at the end of Miss Monroe saying that she's a Chanteuse lol.

Overall, I get why Mariah was adamant about wanting the album to be heard as a full body of work. It ranks high up there with my favorite LP of hers, 'Butterfly.'

Hmm...In the past decade Mariah has had many gems on her albums and actually for me, E=MC² ranks in my Top 3. The main problem has been that promotion of her albums has continued to wane, which is understandable considering that she is now a mother and wife.

There has also been bad single choices over the years, which is due to the label wanting to send out one single and her wanting another.

Not even taking into account 'The Emancipation of Mimi' (2005), I can say that she has had some pretty stellar music- but I am someone who doesn't listen to the radio. Now while there are a handful of mainstream artists who I am a fan of and know what their current single is, overall I just prefer to listen to ones entire EP/LP.

I think a lot of people tend to miss out on great music, by just focusing on what the DJ's are spinning.
