Y'all got to remember that Monroe and Moroccan are the only kids that actually created a bond with him. They grew up with him. Had him around for birthdays, christmas, thanksgiving etc and now he's in the wind. It's different if he was never around or never came around much but they must feel like their dad literally abandoned them on top of which all of their friends and classmates know how Nick gets down cause the word "discretion" means nothing to him.
