Real talk, do you really want a bunch of undereducated poor women, black or not, breeding? Not only will their kids inherit inferior genes, but no one will be around to raise them. I applaud Sanger and the efforts of Planned Parenthood to introduce birth control to the ghetto.

No, dumbass. For the most part, in this day and age, if you're poor and living in the still American ghetto despite welfare, financial aid for college, child tax credits, free daycare, section 8 housing, and WIC, it's probably because you lack sufficient intelligence to make smart choices and develop a skill set the market values. You have the cause and effect twisted.
Those are inferior genes. The majority of people in this group aren't smart and shouldn't be breeding. And even if you think intelligence isn't genetic, why would you want people with few resources having kids? They don't have enough of their own to invest in the welfare of their offspring, ensuring another generation of unproductive poor people.

Financial aid also includes grants, not just subsidized loans.
And the point is to use grants (that don't have to be paid) and loans to finance an education that isn't some bullshytty lib arts that won't lead to a good job.
I went to a good private school where I received so much in grant aid, I actually ended up being paid to go to school. My grant aid exceeded my tuition. I didn't grow up poor, but I may as well have been compared to my upper-middle class classmates, who made up the majority of my peers in college.

That's what I am trying to understand.
No doubt, Sanger's not the greatest person, but many Planned Parenthoods existed in predominantly white areas before the one in Harlem ever came into place, so it's not just black people. Also, Planned Parenthood isn't just about abortion. And birth control is about more than just not getting pregnant
A good number of influential black leaders sat on the board for that initiative. As a matter of fact, GREAT black leaders sat on that council.
Even so, Bringing down Planned Parenthood is not
(a) going to make people better parents
(b) help poorer Black women with female biological/reproductive issues
(c) stop Black people who can't afford to reproduce from producing
(d) provide better sexual education efforts
(e) promote more abstinence or
(f) get Black people to care more about the children they want to bring into the world.
Get rid of Planned Parenthood, all those problems still exists. Fight the problem, not the figurehead. We can complain all day about the problems, but at the end of the day if we have no solutions...

Who cares why or how it was started? I know im thankful they exist. I went to one in Boston and it was mostly white people. In 2012 they're necessary. People who are against abortions shouldn't complain when a runaway abortion with bad parents grows up n shoots up a school.
