After seeing the video today, it's hard to condone what smart did & I don't see how anyone can defend it becasue he(smart) would be the first to say he should've handled it differently. You can't let people take you out of your zone like that because now it seems like a recurring thing of him loosing his cool on chairs, opposing players & fat old(possibly racist)white men.

I will go ahead & give smart the benefit of the doubt of that guy using the N word judging by his reaction once he got up.That old guy seemed to be shook once smart got in his face becasue he wasn't expecting that. I remember being at that nuggets/mavs playoff game where fans were yelling expletives @keynon martin & he ALMOST lost it.

I think the kid will learn from this hopefully, ESPN will physco anaylze this to death & his image & draft stock will be affected sorta like legarrette blount draft stock was.

Remember lebron who is usually very mild mannered checked a fan because he was saying very personal things about him. Some people feel like they have a rite of passage to say whatever & that's not right, but also as the player you have to stay in control or atleast try...

I'm about to rip the audio from the video then run it thru Audacity. I'll analyze the waveform to see if it looks manipulated, then try to remove the general crowd noise from the background to see if I can hear the solo voice clearer
