Inexcusable.....plain and simple
I feel you.Did anyone figure out what the guy said.
I love how 90% of the board is assuming the worst. Always looking to excuse the athlete immediately.
And if he did say some foul shyt, does anyone think that's the first time this man has ever heard foul shyt from a fan. Like his whole life every crowd was just cheering for him? Gotta be able to know how to block that shyt out if you wanna be a pro athlete.
We just need 1 more outburst out of himwait so is he dropping enough for the mavs?
I feel you.
A fan should be allowed to say whatever the fukk they want with no repercussions. I know you probably empathize with dude since you've said some stuff to an athlete that you would never say to them outside of that setting.

Radio analyst John Holcomb confirms what he said on air: He heard Marcus Smart say the fan called him the n-word.
Part of me hopes this is true so Smart doesn't get as villified. I mean you gotta control yourself, but the media circus is gonna kill this dude with round the clock coverage.
unless he really did call him a nigggaInexcusable.....plain and simple
breh, im agreeing with you. Fans should be allowed to say anything they want to athletes. I know you've probably said something in the past that you wouldnt say to said athlete in a restaurant or at a street, but in the stands? Say all the wild shyt you want, you are protected because you paid for that seat. On top of that, when those athletes are in their workplace, they are no longer people but pieces for our entertainment.Dude don't play that angle, because all you gotta do is look on here and see the foul shyt people say about athletes on the regular. Dude wish people would die or get serious injury.
I honestly never been that close to talk trash, illl admit i`ll say shyt like "kill that motherfukker" when someones trying sack the QB.
Fans should not be allowed to say whatever they want, but since we don't even know what the guy said, it's hard tp even discuss if that action was justified.
If he used a the n-word do you think that action is justified? Also, do you think it was the first time someone used the n-word towards this athlete?
I`m interested.
What do you expect people to say? That he is a fine, upstanding young man?
