on the real...there has to be a line...I don't think he should've shoved the fan...but I honestly don't know how I would've reacted at 20 years old in the heat of the moment if something vile to me in that situation...it likely would've been something much dumber than Smart did...I might have suckered punched the dude and started a brawl.

it's easy to toss stones and judge from a distance...but think about how dumb and ridiculous we all were back in the day...I've mellowed way out as I've aged and gotten wiser...but at Smart's age...I think I would've at the very least reacted similarly.

but we do as a society need to have a conversation about fan decorum...I've been to more sports events in the past two decades than I can count...and fans continue to get more and more ridiculous...they act as if purchasing a ticket to a sporting even gives them a license to act out of line for two straight hours with no consequence...it's to the point where I was nervous about taking my nephew to a game because I knew that particular venue was known for outlandish fan behavior...I mean really what's the point?...can people not watch games without vulgarly slandering people?

it's one thing to get mad when your team is losing or get a little over excited when your team is doing well...but the vulgarity and out of line taunts are ridiculous

if you go to a sporting event to not watch sports but to simply slander the athletes...then you need to get a damn life...and I hope one of these athletes catches you after the game with nice fist to the jaw...there's no need for all that...sports are supposed to fun, entertaining, family events.

The funny thing about this is because they bought tickets to go to a game they think they have a further sense of entitlement.

On some, "I'm putting money in your wallet, so I have the right to act in such a manner and you need to respect me."

fam money is power.
W/ money black people can support their own and not have to depend on the system.

Jews have their own schools, business, and networks so that they dont have to depend on anyone but themselves...same for Asians.
Why is it wrong for black folks to want the same?
Money is not power. Entertainers are prime examples why money isn't power. Money is power when you are using it like Magic Johnson with his business ventures which help community growth or Henry Aaron dealerships which do the same with a different market.

Rappers been screaming money, power, respect and nan one of them have the respect yet. Even Jay-Z
