If you want to send them to the CFL or some other league right after high school so they can get paid, then fine.

FOH with that. If they ready for the pros at 19, then they should at least be considered for the NFL. These guys come into college football with NFL bodies. You cant look at Lattimore as a freshman and say dude's game didnt already scream NFL.

Don't want to see it again.

Feel sorry for dude, I hate when players dives right under the knee.

The game isn't just physical. The system transition from high school to NFL is jarring.

40 carries a game increases the odds of it happening, dont defend these shytty coaches for running a blue chip talent into the ground :rudy:

Yeah, and to be honest, I hate the way OU does that too.

THough we're not as bad with it.

But any good runnign back we have, they're gonna give him the ball 25 times a game, plus throw it to him 3-4 times. Even though we always have at least two good backs.

that hit was brutal. Reminds me of that WR from Alabama. He's most likely done forever.

I can see why the NFL doesn't want O/D lineman & LB's to go to the NFL,they aren't ready for that life..
But guys that play skill positions should have that option.A dude like Sammie Watkins should be able to leave after one year. It's not like WR's have to go through a whole hell of a lot of physical maturity to play in the NFL.

well lets find out how jarring it is first, and lets have these guys get paid to catch up to NFL speed. I dont think its as big of a problem as many people think.

what is jarring is seeing a blue chip player forced to stay in college two extra years and have his knee explode two straight years and now leave the school without the earning potential he should have.

Yeah the 40 carries a game is too much for these college kids. Latti suffered from two freak accidents more so though. He just has caught some tough breaks.

Then nikkas would just switch positions in order to get that early payday. :russ:
