How is Thurman going to fight a name when all the names say "i don't have to fight him, he ain't fought a name fighter yet" :heh:

I do think Thurman needs better matchmaking but shyt at the same time it seems like everyone he could fight wants to easy coast into a fight with Floyd and Pac and is like :whoa: "he can be hurt but he has too much power"

i guess i was the only actually impressed with thurman's performance, he showed some skills I didn't know he had

I never saw bundu fight before, but he was pretty rugged guy one of the bigger fighters at 47, he showed some boxing ability that was cut above the other guys keith fought which is expected from a guy who had over 30 wins and o losses and he gave thurman the type of fight he needed if he wants to step up to the big stage, i thought he handled himself well but he hurt himself by talking all that shyt prior about KO's

They already tried to make that fight..
Madiana turned down PAC. He dont want that Brandon Rios treatment.

He is also signed with Haymon though:mjpls:

Haymon would never sign off on Maidana vs Pacquiao, especially when Floyd was still looking for an opponent, and risk Pacquiao looking better against Maidana than Floyd did in their 1st fight:yeshrug:

man that's the BS right there, it's always gotta be some kind of dumb ass agenda

Of course Pac gonna try to make a fight with Maidana when he's in talks with a rematch wit Floyd

it's no brainer, which payday you gonna it's no brainer

pacquiao hasn't stepped in a ring with a legit threat since he got KO'd b a 37 year old Marquez

the excuses for this man has to stop, he need to fight somebody real or just retire

There was no way that Haymon was gonna sign a contract for Manny Pacquiao to fight Marcos Maidana. Al Haymon doesnt work with Bob Arum or HBO, so "offering Maidana a fight" was pointless.

2ndly, so you say:

But Timothy Bradley beat Juan Manuel Marquez convincingly and Pacquiao fought him....so what are you talking about? How could JMM be a "legit threat", but the man who beat him isnt?:dwillhuh:

I cant assume with that man, he's always in defense mode.

Besides, JMM fought Pacquiao 3x prior and never even got close to having Pacquiao in trouble (wobbly legs, daze look, or even buckled knees) so a "KO" was not an option thought of going into the fight....which is why it caught everyone all off guard when Manny was slumped.

Had JMM even knocked Pacquiao down before in any of the 3 fights? I dont believe so, but I would need to research.

JMM never knocked Manny down in the first three fights. Truth be told its his own fault that he lost that 3rd fight. nikka got tired down the stretch. Still scored the fight for him tho.
