Guy gets punched for a living. Have no problem if he wants to retire. No one should have a problem with it, because Maidana always gave maximum effort in the ring. People should be allowed to move on whenever they want. We arent owed anything.

I saw the post this morning breh. Dude is obsessed with Berto dawg. Idk why but dude acting like Berto took food from his table. Idk man the same dude calling Berto overhyped is stanning 97G + hot dog stand +pop corn +soda+ train tickets+ t shirts + hot sauce+ mustard+ all sales in Borat backyard thinks he can badmouth a bum who still faced better opposition than his idol. His own man got an exec fired over at HBO.

I'll let him cook man. Dude had a rough awakening and started screaming Peace and love in boxing after he saw those mumbers. I may have to put his assistant on ignore breh. He been fun king with me for like 8 years now since SOHH.

Can't be mad at all about that. I respect Maidana's decision.

He ended up having a better career than anybody expected, considering his limitations as a fighter. He made a ton of money from the Mayweather fights, not to mention the Broner fight as well. Now his hunger (for boxing anyway) is gone. If he wants to walk away from the sport instead of sticking around and getting the Robert Guerrero treatment, he's well within his rights to do so. And you know he was gonna get the Ghost treatment.

And what I mean by the Ghost treatment, I mean that he was just going to be used as a stepping stone for the other young fighters in Haymon's stable. Just like what Guerrero is going through. And Chino has been through that enough. He was supposed to be a stepping stone for Victor Ortiz. Then he was a stepping stone for Devon Alexander. Built himself back up. Then was supposed to be a stepping stone for Broner. We all know how that turned out. He was rewarded for all of that with the 2 Floyd fights. Now he's basically set. He doesn't have to worry about being fed to all the younger up and coming fighters anymore.

Thats right hopefully he's wise with the money and doesn't have to come back. He always gave a good fight and had a huge heart, he was supposed to be another Ortiz KO victim and shocked everybody when he exposed the quit in him, that fight right there really put maidana on the come up.
I just hope he isn't another boxer who retires early and has some bullshyt happen in his personal life(Happens all the time life throws unexpected twists all the time) and has to come back to boxing just to take care of his finances. Usually when they return, they come back as a fukking shell of there former selves and are basically put in the ring to put a legit name on an up and comers resume, all while getting treated like a punching bag

Bum got his money and quit on boxing at 32 years old:stopitslime:.. I could respect it more if he could just be honest and admit he wants no parts of any of the top fighters at 147.. Bum is getting off too easy :pacspit:
When you fight his style your prime fades quicker. People with mayweathers style can keep going up to their late 30s
