While Manny did whoop his ass it wasn't a "take miles off career" ass whooping, he should be good. This is a great match up and if Crawford were to blow dude out :whoo:

That's true. Manny did dog him, but Diaz and Margarito got it much worse so I think Chris can rebound from it. Just would have liked to see throw a tune up fade first. Don't want him going down the path of Alvarado (too many tough fights back to back)

If this fight gets made, I'm prolly picking Algieri for the upset. :manny: .

pretty much..algieri got a mean boxing lesson from pac thats all...a lesson learned from having mma folks in your boxing camp...but i also agree algieri needs a tune up not someone like crawford in his next fight

I think its going to be a "boring" chess match type of fight with Crawford having more pieces on the board. Manny surprised me with how many counters he had for that jab I could see Crawford switching southpaw and having some success, not on the level Manny did though.

I never said I was picking Algieri I said it was a close fight. Crawford is still a question mark at 140 and his biggest win was from a 5'5'' fighter who had no business at lightweight.

Usually a blow out is when you lose every round or you just happen to nab one round ( either a close one or a mercy round from the judges/viewers)

Examples of blow outs in boxing

Manny/Algieri
Calzaghe/Lacy
Hopkins/Pavlik
Mayweather/Corrales
Mitchell/Tackie
Bryd/Thunder

Although Crawford has the goods, I just don't see him dishing out one of the above mentioned type performances against a boxer as well schooled as Algieri.

If Chris is C level, then a guys like K9 and Curtis Stevens are F levels because there's a definite gap in skills there.

Crawford couldn't blow out Ricky Burns who was coming off an ass kicking loss to Beltran where he got a broken jaw.

I think that Manny fight hurt Algeri's confidence. This shyt will still be close cuz I think Crawford will start off a little slow/cautious.
