This is exactly why the death penalty needs to go. Not only is it cruel and inhumane, but it also fails to deter crime, disproportionately targets marginalized communities, and leaves no room for correcting mistakes that can cost innocent lives. Governor Parsons is a racist piece of shyt.

I still hate that we lost Cori Bush as a voice for justice inside congress.

A republican controlled state government executes a man… even after the case went up to the Supreme Court… and just to be clear, this is a state case where the executive branch has no power.

The coli: “how come the democrat vice president didn’t say anything. Bothsides are the same”
No. But her stance and title has weight in her advocacy of a stay of execution is what we are saying. Being completely silent during election year of an innocent black man being executed, when your black voter turnout is already looking Shakey isn't a great thing.

I never followed this case, but from what I understand, they claimed the DNA on the knife wasn't his?

How did he get the laptop and the other belongings in his car?

Did his girlfriend lie on him for the $10k?

The victim's family didn't want him killed, but that doesn't they though he was innocent.

Missouri Man Executed After Long Fight for Exoneration

Mr. Williams did sell a laptop computer that was stolen from Ms. Gayle’s home, but Mr. Bell said there was evidence that he had received the computer from his girlfriend, who became one of the two witnesses against him in the belief that she would receive leniency in her own criminal cases, he said. Both witnesses died in the intervening years.

if her black voter turnout is shakey (it isn’t), that’s a BLACK PEOPLE problem, not anything kamala needs to address.

if black people are ok with an unrepentant neo nazi becoming president because his opponent didn’t kiss the ring, they and their children will reap the consequences.

and when they cry for help to those of us who warned them of what was coming, those appeals will fall on deaf ears.

Missouri is such a trash state to live in :scust:
Yeah. Don’t let the state off the hook talking about Presidents and whatnot. They are the ones there now in that man’s face. They were right there and could’ve easily held off on doing that. Don’t let them off the hook

Similar case here. Guy was freed and then put back on death row due to a technicality. America y'all.

that's mighty rich of you blaming others for not speaking on it when you have not mentioned his name until he was on the chair
you know, you can be the change you want to see. we don't have to wait on others to speak for us.

I was speaking up on it on my IG up until recently. Lost track with other things such as art residencies and painting. Forgive me.
