the pau gasol for marc gasol trade is the SOLE reason the grizzlies were able to go get zach randolph. had they kept paus 17 million dollar contract they would not have had the flexibility to make any other moves

At this point it wouldn't matter if they did. The Lakers would not have won their last two championships if they didn't land that trade for Pau. That trumps anything else.

Nothing flew over my head. This is an old kobestan routine designed, like everything else, to trivialize Kobe's teammates in order to further prop him up.
Kobe groupies been claiming the Grizzlies WON the Pau trade for years. This is simply a more realistic/acceptable spin on it, but he still worded it the way he did initially to try to slip that shyt in.
