:childplease: We can debate this after the Grizz win 2 championships

the lakers won and the grizzlies won....you know thats possible right?

the grizzlies werent winning championships with pau, so the lakers success is irrelevant to how the trade turned out for memphis

the pau gasol for marc gasol trade is the SOLE reason the grizzlies were able to go get zach randolph. had they kept paus 17 million dollar contract they would not have had the flexibility to make any other moves

grizz won. no rational person is gonna disagree

It turned out well for them, better than anyone expected. That's a lot different from what you said before. The Grizzlies did not get the better of the trade, that's the part that's not up for debate until they start winning rings.

:what:

That's stupid. The Grizzles don't have Kobe Bryant. Look at where the Grizzles were and where there are now.

Some of you dudes really got no sense. shyt is crazy.

At this point it wouldn't matter if they did. The Lakers would not have won their last two championships if they didn't land that trade for Pau. That trumps anything else.

Nothing flew over my head. This is an old kobestan routine designed, like everything else, to trivialize Kobe's teammates in order to further prop him up.

Kobe groupies been claiming the Grizzlies WON the Pau trade for years. This is simply a more realistic/acceptable spin on it, but he still worded it the way he did initially to try to slip that shyt in.

That's irrelevant. Lakers had more pieces in place to compete for a championship.

Phil, Lamar, Kobe, Bynum and Ariza were already there.

:comeon: They couldn't get past the first round until the Pau trade. That's the only thing that's relevant.

Shows just what you can do when you are dedicated to the game and to getting better. This man transformed his body in a couple years time. Then you got cats like Jamarcus Russell who haven't been in the league for several years, and still are saying they need to lose weight. It shows the players who take their conditioning serious, are usually blessed by the sports gods.
