The bill they’re protesting against basically has zero chance to pass. This is more about the principle.

New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. They’re also a STEM powerhouse (top 15 in the world). They’re doing great, no reason to change anything drastic - especially to shift more conservative. These right wing people always ruin things.
